The YCRC website is hosted as a community service by:

Founded in 1979, the YCRC  has grown to over 3,000 active members, becoming one of the largest of its kind in the country. While its roots are firmly planted in the heart of central PA's dirt track oval racing scene, its interests also include many other forms of auto racing as well. Its membership includes fans, drivers, owners and promoters alike, from all corners of the globe and from many venues of racing.

One of the club's goals is to support and promote the sport of racing, as well as the tracks, fans and sponsors involved. The club has many member events throughout the year, such as club nights at various tracks, car shows, family picnics, bus trips and cruises and more. However, YCRC is much more than just a racing fan's social club!

The Injured Drivers Fund, was created to financially help any YCRC Member Driver, should they suffer an injury and loss of income while racing. Much of the club's time is devoted to the various fund raisers that provide the much needed monies for this fund. Thousands of dollars have been paid out since the Injured Drivers Fund was founded.  The club has also sponsored benefits and fund raising events for the families of those who lost their lives while racing.

YCRC also recognizes the importance of preserving the rich history of the sport. YCRC's annual Hall of Fame Banquet is just one example of how the club helps to raise public awareness, as well as honor the racers themselves for their efforts. The awards and presentations given each year in recognition of the accomplishments of the racing family, past and present, have become a valued and important tradition to the racing community.

For more information on YCRC, any of our events, or becoming a member, we invite you to contact us at any time. Feel free to attend any of our bi-monthly membership meetings which are always open to the public!

See you at the races!

The annual Hall of Fame Banquet will be held at the Wyndham Garden in York (former Holiday Inn) on Saturday January 9th, 2016.  Doors open at 5:00 with dinner at 6:00.  Special guest speaker for this year’s banquet will be KOLTEN GOUSE the new General Manager of Susquehanna Speedway for 2016. Tickets sell for $35.00 each and can be purchased from any director or by calling Kim Strong at (717)266-7166.  Looking forward to seeing all of you there for a great evening.

The 2016 racing calendars are at the printers and are expected to be available in the next few weeks.  Once again the calendars will sell for the low price of only $5.00.  Special thanks to the calendar committee for their hard work and to Loren Carman and all the photographers for their contribution.  If you want a calendar and are not able to pick up one at a track or club function you can mail a check for $7.00 to cover shipping to: Y.C.R.C., 568 S. Yale St. York, Pa 17403.

Like us on facebook and follow the racing action as we begin our York County Racing Club Nights at the various tracks.

Remember, in order to be eligible for the YCRC Injured Drivers Fund benefits, you must have your 2015 dues paid at the time of your racing accident. Your $10 YCRC membership makes you eligible for a monthly check of $350 for up to one (1) year until you are able to return to work if injured in a racing accident.
